Contour Art Gallery

Contour Art Gallery, founded in 2016 in Vilnius, Lithuania, by economist and art critic Vilma Mačianskaitė, is dedicated to promoting Lithuanian artists internationally. Initially operating in pop-up spaces, the gallery collaborated with prestigious art institutions, including museums and real estate developers like Sotheby’s Baltic Realty, focusing on artist representation rather than maintaining a permanent space. In 2024, thanks to new partnerships, the gallery opened a 500 m² space in Vilnius, where it now continuously hosts its exhibitions. Two exhibitions have already been held in 2024, with four more planned for 2025, underscoring the gallery’s growing influence in the local art scene. Additionally, the gallery has expanded to San Francisco, where a partner hosts exhibitions and provides space for temporary needs like office and storage. Annual exhibitions will be held there as part of San Francisco Art Week, extending the reach and visibility of Contour Art Gallery on the international stage.
