LAB is the chapter dedicated to artist residencies and non-profit experimental projects taking place in Italy with regard to contemporary art and to their work with other sectors of the system, curated by Giulia Floris. Any spaces invited has been asked to develop a project for the Fair in dialogue with an institutional artist residency program ongoing in Italy. The idea of involving artist residency as partner institutions stems from the fundamental concepts of hospitality and of exploration that underlie them.
