Wizard Gallery is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2005 in Milan, originally known as Federico Luger (FL Gallery) and renamed Wizard Gallery in 2020. It also operates an office in London. The gallery represents over 30 artists whose practices are research-driven, exploring intersections between art, science, technology, the environment, and the living. Wizard Gallery is especially recognized for its promotion of Latin American artists in Italy and has organized over 92 exhibitions (74 solo and 18 group shows) featuring 64 artists. These artists have participated in major international events like the Venice Biennale, São Paulo Biennial, Sydney Biennial, and Liverpool Biennial, and are included in prestigious collections such as MoMA (NY), Centre Pompidou (Paris), MOCA, LACMA, Reina Sofia (Madrid), MAXXI (Rome), and more. The gallery has taken part in over 74 international art fairs, including Artissima, MiArt, ARCO, Art Verona, Zona MACO, Untitled (Miami and San Francisco), PINTA (London and Miami), and Paris Photo, earning awards at ARCO (2008), Artissima (2019), and Art Verona (2020). Wizard Gallery regularly collaborates with prominent museums and institutions like MAXXI Rome, Palazzo Fortuny Venice, Mart Rovereto, Ludwig Museum Budapest, MoMA NY, and others. Committed to driving social change, the gallery organizes public programs such as book presentations, talks, interviews, studio visits, and special projects that address issues like gender equality, sustainability, and global affairs.
